ROSWELL, Ga. - BOR-RAM is registered for use in Texas and affirmed by the Texas Department of Agriculture as a primary pretreatment for subterranean termites (including Formosan) in new construction.
A product of the Sostram Corporation, BOR-RAM is a glycol-borate termiticide, insecticide, fungicide. It received federal EPA registration in 2007.
Sostram has now secured state registrations and regulatory approvals in the key states requiring termite prevention during new construction. While state termite pretreatment regulations vary, Texas allows borate barrier pretreatments such as
BOR-RAM to serve as a primary method to prevent structural attack by termites (when applied according to label requirements).
