BEDFORD, Nova Scotia — Braemar Pest Control, a Canadian-owned pest management company in Atlantic Canada, has become the first company to earn the QualityPro designation in Canada.
As a QualityPro company, Braemar Pest Control took steps to ensure customer satisfaction, said the company. From running criminal background checks on all of their employees to testing and training all their employees, QualityPro companies are committed to providing consumers with the highest possible level of pest management, said the company.
“QualityPro will help us to serve our two most important partners, our customers and our staff. As a newly approved QualityPro company, consumers can have full confidence in our service, employees and prices,” said Don McCarthy, president of Braemar Pest Control.
QualityPro companies have met key qualifications built around four basic principles: Business Operations, Consumer Relations, Environmental Stewardship and Technician Training. These qualifications include employing only credentialed employees, offering a warranty and termite service agreement, maintaining a drug-free workplace, advertising truthfully and ethically and maintaining an up-to-date insurance policy.
In addition, QualityPro now offers a new designation, QualityPro Green. "We at Braemar Pest Control are now eligible to participate in QualityPro Green and hope to achieve this designation in January 2009. As I like to say: If you’re not going Green then you’re heading Red," McCarthy said.
