It was a holiday designed to offer British pop star Cheryl Cole a much-needed break from a hectic schedule, but, six days spent in Tanzania could see the X Factor judge out of action for weeks while she recuperates after contracting malaria.
The singer and judge has now spent her fourth night in hospital and medical experts say she may not be able to return to her normal work schedule for several weeks.
Mosquito bites suffered by the star seem to have led to infection.
