UPDATE: The brothers just reached day 20 in their trip, arriving in their fourth state: North Dakota. They posted this update on their trip blog:
"On Sunday (day 20) we crossed into our 4th state – North Dakota! Riding the full day on the interstate, we had another (yet minor) episode of SAG car & bikers separation anxiety. With construction on the interstate, the girls were forced to drive ahead while the boys rode through the construction zone. The boys crossed over to the access road that randomly and abruptly ended, forcing them to hike back up to the highway carrying the bikes on their shoulders. With no cell service, the girls decided to turn back around and had their own dead ends too (with skunks) and eventually found the boys, demanding that walkie-talkies were added to that night’s shopping list!"
