ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Buffalo Exterminating announced it has reached an agreement to purchase the assets of Pioneer Pest Management, Hamlin, N.Y. (Rochester area), effective April 1, 2008. Buffalo Exterminating will combine Pioneer Pest Management with the Orchard Park firm’s operating unit, Rochester Pest Management. The combined companies will operate under the new name, Rochester Exterminating, to strengthen its presence in Monroe and surrounding counties. The acquisition represents the third by Buffalo Exterminating in the past three years.
“The purchase of Pioneer Pest Management is in keeping with Buffalo Exterminating’s growth strategy designed to introduce our high standards of excellence and value to a broader customer base,” said John Zimmerman, general manager. “We have continued to expand our business in the Rochester market and this acquisition will take us to the next level.”
Dave Willis of Pioneer Pest Management will continue to oversee operations for the company under the Rochester Exterminating name. He brings more than 20 years of experience to his new position.
