Buffalo Exterminating Announces Employee Promotions

Buffalo Exterminating announced that the firm has promoted several employees in Western New York.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Buffalo Exterminating announced that the firm has promoted several employees in Western New York.

Buffalo Exterminating has appointed Ian McCabe as sales manager. Previously service manager at the company, he will now be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the sales department including commercial, residential and specials sales throughout the greater Buffalo and Rochester metropolitan areas. McCabe is a graduate of ITT Technical Institute and has been with Buffalo Exterminating since 2001.

Mark Pickhardt has been promoted from service supervisor to service manager at the company's Orchard Park headquarters. His new responsibilities include day to day service department operations out of the Orchard Park office. With over 13 years in pest management, Pickhardt joined the company in 2005.

Buffalo Exterminating has also promoted Hans Mann from commercial sales representative to service manager at the company's new Northtowns Service Center in Clarence.  He will be responsible for the day to day operations at that location.  In addition, he will assume a dual role as residential sales representative in which he will be responsible for outside sales and will report to the sales manager for sales duties. Mann has his B.S. in Education from Buffalo State College where he concentrated in Earth Science.  He has been a part of the Buffalo Exterminating team since 2002.

Jon Potzler has been promoted to lead technician at Buffalo Exterminating.  He will be responsible for field support and coaching of commercial, residential and special service staff.   After 8 years serving in the US Army, including a tour of duty in Iraq, he joined Buffalo Exterminating in 2006.
