ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. – Buffalo Exterminating is sponsoring the Bug Bash at the Buffalo Museum of Science, an interactive exhibition on insects presented at the museum now through Sept. 1.
Buffalo Exterminating’s sponsorship assisted the museum in creating a variety of innovative presentations on numerous insects common to Western New York and other areas of the world, from wasps, ants, and tent caterpillars, to trap-door spiders and butterflies. The exhibition is designed to be both fun and educational, with activities for children and visitors of all ages.
“Buffalo Exterminating is proud to sponsor Bug Bash in support of the Buffalo Museum of Science, another way we strive to give back to the community in which we work and live,” said John Zimmerman, general manager. “Of course, it is a natural fit between our company and this exhibition. At the same time — after doing business here for more than half a century — we recognize the importance of the museum as part of everyone’s heritage in the Buffalo area.”
Zimmerman noted that the management team at Buffalo Exterminating found the Bug Bash to be so unique and interesting they recently held an outing at the museum so that company employees and their families could enjoy the exhibition.
