PARAMUS, N.J. – Bug Doctor Termite & Pest Control is joining the fight against malaria by donating mosquito-repellant clothing to those who need it in Africa, the company said.
Stuart Aust, owner of Bug Doctor, purchased ten Moskeeto Armor Hood-Es, manufactured by ING Activewear. That donation was matched by Robin Crespo, CEO and head designer at ING.
The clothes were developed to be resistant to mosquitos for up to 50 washes, and is part of ING’s anti-malaria Code Purple campaign.
“This Moskeeto Hood-E holds the potential to save millions of lives across the world, and the mission of this project is to enable ING Activewear to distribute this product to every soul living in an environment where malaria is a risk factor,” Bug Doctor said in a release.
