Bug Off Pest Control Center to Present Wildlife Seminar

The May 28 event is titled ‘PMPs Gone Wild’ and will be led by wildlife management expert Alan Huot.

NEW YORK - Bug Off Pest Control Center will be hosting “PMPs Gone Wild,” a seminar presented by Alan A. Huot, a Certified Wildlife Control Professional (CWCP) with more than 30 years experience in wildlife control. Huot is a founding member of the National Wildlife Control Operators Association (NWCOA), member of the National Animal Control Association and member of the National Pest Management Association. In 1998, Alan and his wife Carol founded Wildlife Control Supplies (WCS) to fill the equipment and educational needs of the growing professional wildlife control industry.

The meeting agenda will cover licensing requirements. Participants will learn how to trap, transport and dispose of the major animals: squirrels, raccoons, skunks, opossums, moles, bats, snakes, etc. There will also be a demonstration of the latest tools for trapping, handling and personal protection.

The Workshop will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 2 pm at Bug Off’s Career Training Center, 1085 Saint Nicholas Avenue, in Manhattan. Admission is $35.00.
