JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Bug Out Service has opened a new, two-story office to house its staff in the fast-growing Clay County region.
“Because the location we were at, we basically outgrew it and we needed a bigger location,” said Linda Prentice, an associate certified entomologist for Bug Out. The new office serves one of Northern Florida’s fastest-growing areas.
“It is a growing area in Clay County,” she said, adding that the Blanding Boulevard location is “the busiest office in the company.”
Twenty-five employees work out of the two-story office. At the grand opening, Senior Technician Malissa Gallagher presented Senior Manager Robert Holyfield with a plaque commemorating his 25 years with the company. Prentice said Holyfield has spent 20 years as a manager with Bug Out, and has helped grow the company’s service area in Clay and Duvall counties.
“He has really built that area out there,” Prentice said. Bug Out has three other Jacksonville offices, and one office each in St. Augustine and Yulee, Fla.
