LA VERNE, Calif. — California Pest Management (CPM), La Verne, Calif., was recently recognized as the Business of the Year by the La Verne Chamber of Commerce as part of the commerce’s 2022 Excellence in La Verne Awards.
CPM was selected because of it community involvement, excellence in service and support of the local business community including donating a ballistic K9 vest for the La Verne PDs new K9 officer.
"This award reminds us of the value of hard work, high ethical standards and caring for our local community. We are very proud to receive this award," said Jim Harmon, owner of California Pest Management.
California Pest Management provides mosquito abatement, yellow jacket trapping, bee control, squirrel control, pest bird control and live animal trapping throughout the Los Angeles area. The company also provides freshwater lake management, weed prevention and algae control. California Pest Management is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.
