Carolyn Lewis, Co-Founder of Lewis Cobb Pest Control, Dies

Carolyn Lewis, who along with husband Richard, founded Lewis Cobb Pest Control, passed away at age 81.

MAITLAND, Fla. — Carolyn Lewis, 81, of Maitland, widow of the late Richard L. Lewis, died Dec. 26, 2006.

Carolyn, a native of E. St. Louis, Ill., and Richard, moved to Central Florida in 1958 and started Lewis Cobb Pest Control. She was one of the first women in Florida to hold a Pest Control Operator's license.

Carolyn is survived by her three sons, Richard C. and wife, Jane, of Lithia, FL; Roger E. and wife, Kathy, of Altamonte Springs; and Randall L. and wife, Carol, of Aurora, CO; and six grandchildren.

She has been laid to rest next to her husband Richard, at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park. Arrangements by Baldwin-Fairchild, E. Altamonte Chapel, 407 831-2031.
