ST. LOUIS, Mo. BASF Pest Control Solutions (PCS) announced it has named Dan Carrothers as business manager for the group.
Carrothers joins BASF from DATA CORE Marketing where he served as chief operating officer. Previously, he was vce president of Chipco Professional Products within Bayer Environmental Sciences and had responsibility for the U.S. turf & ornamentals market. Prior to that, Carrothers held several positions at Bayer including sales, marketing and project management in Canada and the United States.
“The combination of Dan’s experience and business acumen make him a natural fit for PCS,” said Jan Buberl, Director, BASF Specialty Products. “His leadership skill set will further accelerate our planned growth in the termiticide, general insect and rural hygiene businesses.”
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Guelph University and an MBA from Queen’s University. Dan and his family will relocate to St. Louis over the next several months.
