CASTLETON, N.Y. – Catseye Pest Control announced the launch of its fifth annual Catseye Cares For Kids Campaign, a fundraiser benefiting Make-A-Wish Northeast New York.
Catseye Pest Control will donate $15 to Make-A-Wish for each Platinum Program or rodent service sold from November 2013 through February 2014. In addition, the company is asking employees, family, friends and clients to contribute personal dollars with the hope of raising more than last year’s grand total of $10,000.
“Catseye has been very fortunate to grow as a company,” said John Gagne, president of Catseye Pest Control. “We want to give back everything we can to help local children and families in need. Our partnership with Make-A-Wish is a great testament to this.”
To date, Catseye Pest Control has raised more than $25,000 for Make-A-Wish Northeast New York. Last year’s fundraising efforts sponsored 12-year-old Anthony’s wish to meet the LA Angels Major League Baseball team. Anthony, who is recovering from bone cancer, flew to California with his family to meet his favorite players and even spent a day at Disneyland.
Catseye Pest Control is encouraging participation in its campaign to help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses this year. Personal donations by check can be made payable to Make-A-Wish Northeast New York and sent to Catseye Pest Control headquarters at 31 Commercial Drive, Castleton, NY 12033.
