CASTLETON, N.Y. - The Albany Times Union has named Catseye Pest Control to its 2013 Top Workplaces list. The annual awards are given to businesses in the Albany, N.Y. region who exemplify positive work environments, as described by staff members, according to the firm.
The awards ceremony took place on April 18, 2013, at the Desmond Hotel in Albany. More than 560 companies submitted for the recognition and only 25 were selected in the small business category, Catseye said. The firm ranked No. 11 on the list, recognized for its dedication to maintaining a happy, healthy workplace that inspires employee loyalty and growth, Catseye said.
"Their open door policy is what really impresses me," said one service technician in his submission to the Times Union. "Management is always willing to listen and change things around to better the company."
