SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - Central Life Sciences named Charlie Pate as the 2012 recipient of its Salesman of the Year award for the Zoecon Professional Products Division.
Pate, who earned the very first Salesman of the Year award in 1999 and again in 2002, is the the Mid-Atlantic Region Manager and is responsible for Central Life Sciences' vector and professional pest management. He provides support to distributors and agents while moving pest and vector control products through the sales system in specified territories that include Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, Central Life said.
“Charlie has been with Central Life Sciences for nearly 23 years and has always been one of our most consistent salespeople, leading to his tremendous reputation for effective leadership and sales achievement,” said Larry Smith, director of sales for Central Life Sciences. “He has been a staple of the ZPP division sales force, generating outstanding sales numbers for 2012, and we are very pleased to present him with this award.”
Pate has a bachelor's degree in zoology from Clemson University and a master's degree in entomology from the University of Georgia. He is an active member of the Clemson University fraternity Phi Delta Theta, and he currently lives in Eatonton, Ga.
