Certus completed its acquisition of Dominion Pest Control Services. on April 7, 2020. Dominion was founded in 2007 and provides pest management services to the Seattle metro area.
Dominion has always focused on providing high-quality pest control services, as well as being an active member of the Washington State Pest Management Association (WSPMA). Dominion President and founder Tony Wurst is a past president of the WSPMA.
Wurst said, “I have enjoyed building a small business and the relationships that developed both within the industry and, more importantly, within Dominion’s team. That said, it is no secret I’ve had other career dreams and aspirations. When I first met Mike Givlin, CEO of Certus., in 2019 a seed was planted that there may be a chance to set up the Dominion team for long-term success while freeing me up to pursue a career in law. As I watched Certus operate in the Seattle area and saw their People First philosophy in action, I was very impressed. Further, their support for the WSPMA was fantastic.”
