GUILFORD, Conn. — Certus entered the Southwest U.S. market with the acquisition of Responsible Pest & Scorpion Control of Chandler, Ariz. Purchased by Darin and David Huffaker in 2007, Responsible was founded in 1991 and serves the Phoenix and Tucson markets.
Darin and David Huffaker released a joint statement that they decided to sell to Certus because they "would take good care of our employees by offering better benefits and new opportunities for career advancement."
Mike Givlin, CEO and co-founder of Certus, said, “Darin and David have built a great business with strong organic growth and fantastic service quality. We look forward to working with the management team to continue to invest in and grow this great company.”
