RIVERIDE, Calif. — Certus continues its expansion with the acquisition of Rodent Pest Technologies. Rodent Pest Technologies was founded over 27 years ago by Angelo Tomiselli Jr. and serves the Southern California market. The transaction closed on June 1.
Tomiselli said he was proud to have developed a company culture where employees cared and were instrumental in developing "more technologically over time, yet still held onto that small company feel, in our attitudes towards those we served and those of us who were here to serve."
In exploring possible buyers, Tomiselli said it was important to find a partner "that would care for the needs of those we service, as well as the staff." In February, he met with Certus he found their "values aligned with my vision then and now for the company. It was after a meeting with their team that I decided to sell Rodent Pest Technologies, Inc. to Certus."
Mike Givlin, CEO and co-founder of Certus, said, “Angelo has built a great company and a great team. His focus on looking after his people so that they can look after their customers is in perfect alignment with what we strive for at Certus. We look forward to working with the Rodent Pest Technologies team as we continue our expansion in California."
