Certus Continues Southeast Expansion with Pair of Acquisitions

GUILFORD, Conn. - Certus continues to expand Southeast business with the acquisition of Pesty John’s Pest Control and Bug Termite & Pest Control.

Pesty John’s Pest Control is a second-generation family operated business servicing Georgia and Alabama. Owner John Allen is an industry veteran, with over 50 years of pest control experience. He said, “Knowing that Certus will support my employees and help them grow in their careers made the transition from business owner much easier for me.”

Headquartered in Venice, Fla., Bug Termite & Pest Control is owned and operated by another 50+ year industry veteran, Danny Swain. He commented, “I wanted to sell my business to a company that would keep the family feel for my team and be flexible through the transition period. Certus’ leadership has enlisted the hands-on experience in the industry to best understand my team and business model.”
