LAS VEGAS — Certushas acquired EcoGen Pest Control, a company serving the Las Vegas area. The acquisition expands Certus' presence in the region, where it already operates Evolve Pest Control and Las Vegas Pest Control.
EcoGen, founded by Phil Rinehart, serves residential and commercial clients throughout Southern Nevada. The company is known for its focus on customer care and environmentally responsible practices. Its brand will remain active, and current leadership and staff will stay in place to maintain service continuity.
"EcoGen brings a strong team and operational foundation that aligns with our approach," said Patrick Kelly, senior vice president of strategy at Certus Pest.
Rinehart said the acquisition marks a new chapter for the company.
"Founding and building EcoGen has been one of the greatest accomplishments of my life," he said. "Joining Certus allows us to continue that work with additional resources and support."
Paul Giannamore and Franco Villanueva-Meyer of the Potomac Company acted as exclusive financial advisors to EcoGen.
