Certus announced it has hired Ron Shakespeare as president of its Florida region.
Shakespeare is a pest control industry veteran with more than 24 years of experience. He began his career as a branch manager for Terminix, and eventually accepted a position with Steritech, where he held several management positions. Shakespeare continued to advance his career with Rentokil after it acquired Steritech.
In his new role, Shakespeare will focus on "keeping our People First culture strong in all of our acquired companies." He will also be responsible for "maintaining our commitment to provide world-class service to all of our customers," the company said
Mike Givlin, CEO and co-founder of Certus, said, “Ron was a natural fit for the Florida Regional President position. His people-focused leadership style, plus outstanding track record of delivering results, make him a perfect fit for Certus.”
Shakespeare commented that “Having the opportunity to be a part of a people-first, results-oriented company was appealing to me. I am looking forward to working with the rest of the Certus team to build our Florida business into a world-class operation.”
