Certus Pest Control announced the appointment of Amy Wilson as chief operating officer (COO).
Wilson joins Certus after 15 years of progressive experience at United Site Services, a route-based rental equipment company. Amy started her career at United as a Controller and quickly became a regional president of operations. She then became vice president of field operations support and, finally, spent five years as vice president of acquisition Integration.
Wilson is a well-rounded executive who, during her career, integrated more than 60 acquisitions and oversaw growth at United Site Services at more than eight times revenue. People frst is the foundation of Wilson's leadership style and one of her favorite activities is running routes with our technicians.
Wilson earned her MBA from Saint Mary’s College of California.
Mike Givlin, CEO and co-founder of Certus, said, “When looking to fill the COO role, we wanted to find someone who had deep experience in route-based services, knows how to build strong employee-centered cultures, and very importantly, had experience with businesses that scale quickly through mergers and acquisitions. We also wanted someone who aligned closely with our high-performance culture centered around our core values of People First, Doing Right, and Reaching Higher. I believe that we have found all of this and much more in Amy.”
Wilson said, “After meeting with Mike and getting a clear understanding of his vision for Certus, as well as seeing the commitment that both Mike and the Board of Directors have to the Certus core values, I knew that this was a team I wanted to be a part of.”
