Mayor Daley's Dumpster Task Force last week closed the Walgreens at 11040 S. Michigan Ave. after finding 570 mouse droppings on the floor and shelves displaying snack foods and candy. Inspectors visited the store after receiving general complaints about garbage and rodent activity from customers, the Chicago Tribune reports.
In addition to finding mouse droppings, inspectors also found an accumulation of garbage surrounding an open dumpster outside the store.
