Chuck Todd of NBC News to Speak at NPMA's Legislative Day

Legislative Day 2009 takes place March 2-3 in Washington, D.C., at the historic Mayflower Hotel.

FAIRFAX, Va. — Chuck Todd of NBC News will address attendees at Legislative Day 2009, which takes place March 2-3 in Washington, D.C.

The event is sponsored by FMC Professional Solutions and takes place downtown at the historic Mayflower Hotel.

NBC News Political Director Chuck Todd serves as the political analyst for NBC Nightly News, Meet the Press and the Today show. At NPMA’s Legislative Day 2009, Chuck Todd’s keynote presentation, sponsored by Dow AgroSciences, will offer a comprehensive picture of today’s political landscape and will address what the Obama presidency will mean for America.

“For twenty-two years, Legislative Day has been characterized as the industry lobbying opportunity,” said NPMA’s Senior Vice President Bob Rosenberg. “Attending Legislative Day is an investment in the industry and never has there been a more important and necessary opportunity to make that investment than in 2009. I strongly encourage PMPs to join us on Capitol Hill in March.”

NPMA’s Legislative Day is a once-a-year opportunity for individual pest management industry members to collectively come to Capitol Hill and speak directly with their elected U.S. Senators and Representatives, sharing information and articulating concerns to increase awareness and support for the pest management industry.

There are more than 60 new members of Congress this year — meaning that more than one in 10 lawmakers is a freshman. This means that more than ever, pest management professionals need to establish relationships with their members of Congress and their staff.

Legislative Day combines visits with lawmakers and their staff with an educational program and keynote presentations. Visit www.npmapestworld.org or call 703/352-6762 for more information.
