City Wide Exterminating Hosts Fundraiser to Benefit Veterans Organization

LOCUST, N.C. — During the month of November, the team at City Wide Exterminating worked together to raise just over $1,700 for Team Red White & Blue.They raised money through raffling off a Blackstone Griddle prize pack, selling special-edition apparel, and donating the amount of Veteran’s discounts they give on all new services.

 Team Red White & Blue serves as a solution to isolation and health challenges veterans and service members may face as they transition out of the military. They provide local, consistent, and inclusive opportunities for veterans and the community to connect through physical and social activity within local chapters. Team Red White & Blue has an ongoing need for support, so the City Wide team decided to commit their community focus to raise awareness and funds for this great cause. In addition to fundraising, City Wide Exterminating also matched $500 of all funds raised.

“Giving back has become an important part of who we are here at City Wide. Our team chooses the organizations that matter to them each year, and we incorporate that into our City Wide Cares mission,” president Ashley Morrison says. “Team Red White & Blue was first brought to our attention by Jason Keough, an Army veteran and five-year team member here who is actively involved with the organization. We were all very excited to be able to support Jason and this great program.”
