ST. CHARLES, Ill. – Clarke, a provider of public health vector management solutions, has completed its acquisition of Becker Microbial Products and its AquaBac larvicide line, including ownership of Becker’s proprietary Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies israelensis (Bti) strain. The transaction marks Clarke’s largest acquisition in its nearly 80-year history. Financial terms were not disclosed. The move expands Clarke’s larvicide portfolio, which also includes the Spinosad-based Natular® line, both environmentally friendly and OMRI Listed® for use in and around organic areas.
