PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Potomac Company announced that Clyde King has joined its Pest Control Group as director of M&A, with a special focus on family businesses.
Based in Orlando, King comes to Potomac after serving as the director of acquisitions for Massey Services for 19 years where he was part of a team that transformed Massey to a $250 million regional powerhouse.
King commented, “Since retiring from a long career with an outstanding company, I’ve received a variety of offers to continue doing what I know and love in the pest control industry. However, for me, like most in the industry, there really is only one choice when it comes to valuation and mergers & acquisitions, and that’s Potomac. I am thrilled to be part of a truly international organization and I am excited to be on the same side of the table as Paul Giannamore and his team and advise on transactions around the world.”
Paul Giannamore, managing director of The Potomac Company, said, “We’ve worked closely with Clyde for almost fifteen years and I can’t think better addition to our team in the Southeast. Clyde has a unique knack for helping family businesses navigate the sale and succession process and as part of Potomac will be able to advise family businesses on a global scale. We’re truly excited to have him as part of our team.”
