"In the past, we have required PCOs to travel to Houston for the two days of training. While that has allowed many PCOs to offer a working solution to mosquitoes, this hurricane season has caused unprecedented mosquito pressure and all PCOs need to get involved in mosquito management efforts for their communities. By compressing our training into one day and going to the home states of those most severely impacted, we hope to visit with as many PCOs as possible and offer them a menu of choices that they can consider," says Randy Elkins, president of Coastal.
Bobby Jenkins, owner of ABC Pest and Lawn Services of Austin, Texas and a Coastal Distributor, echoes that sentiment, "Mosquitoes are a big problem and mosquito control is big business — not just for the government, but for PCOs as well."
Coastal's "Road Trip Training" begins Oct. 3 and will continue through the end of October. To learn when the Coastal team will be in your state, you can contact them at 281-759-8900 or at roadtrip@coastalmister.com.
