NEW YORK - Seven members of the Colony Pest Management team grew beards in November to raise money that was donated to the American Cancer Society for research on breast cancer.
Mike Bauersfeld, Simon Liebert, Mark Cruz, Ed Sheehan, Chris Gill and Vijai Sinanan all participated and Wednesday, Dec. 2 was the big shave off. Colony thanked the staff at John Allan's Premier Mens Grooming Club at 418 Washington St. NY, NY 10013, for the shave.
Although only a few of the Colony team was able to grow an inch of facial hair in 30 days, thanks to donations from Colony ($150 per participant) and Tom Algeo, from Residex ($20 per participant), the team was able to raise $850.
