NEW YORK - Colony Pest Management announced that it has been evaluated and certified by the IPM Institute of North America as Green Shield Certified.
The company has branded its services as Green Clover Integrated Pest Management, or Green Clover IPM, which it describes as an approach to pest control that uses regular monitoring to determine if and when treatments are needed. It employs physical, mechanical, cultural, biological, and educational tactics to keep pest numbers low enough to prevent damage and/or annoyance. Green Clover IPM fights pest issues without unnecessary pesticide use, by correcting the conditions that lead to pest problems and using approved pesticides, only when necessary.
