GREENSBORO, N.C. – In an effort to effectively assist organizations in the quest for performance optimization, TMMG, Inc. of High Point, N.C., and Preston International Corp. of Jacksonville, Fla., have joined resources to development the Work/Life Balance Organization Assessment.
“This tool allows the preparer to determine in 15 minutes whether an organization has a need for work/life balance initiatives,” said TMMG, Inc. President Randy Moser.
Answering 10 questions provides a single metric to measure an organization’s current state. Progress can then be measured by completing the assessment after the initiatives have been implemented. Comparing individual organizational scores and overall participant scores against a benchmark also creates a valuable comparison for management.
“Our challenge was to develop a tool that senior management could use to quickly and realistically assess an organization’s work/life balance current state” adds Jane MacMillan, president, Preston International Corp. “Now an organization has a starting point to determine if work/life balance initiatives are warranted,” she said.
