Connecticut Pest Elimination Acquires SHS Pest Control

Formed in 1981 by Ernie Nascimento, SHS Pest Control – standing for Security, Honesty, and Safety – is a full-service pest control provider serving southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. A few years after forming the business, Nascimento hired Michele Eccles in 1984, who was the first female technician in the state of Rhode Island. She later became a shareholder in the business alongside Nascimentoand was instrumental in the Company’s growth and industry involvement with NPMA, NEPMA, QualityPro, QualityPro Schools, and GreenPro. After 42 years of service, SHS Pest Control has now become part of the Connecticut Pest Elimination family.

The Aust Group represented SHS Pest Control as the exclusive financial advisor on the transaction, which closed on Feb. 16, The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
