PASADENA, Texas — Control Solutions, Inc. has hired Rami Soufi in a newly developed role of vice president of business development. Soufi comes to CSI with a 20+ year track record of innovation and success across the agrochemical, specialties and consumer markets for The Scotts Company, Uniroyal, Rohm and Haas and Gemplers.
Soufi will have the responsibility for bringing new products into the company through relationships with third-party organizations and directing internal professional product development within CSI.
Soufi will be relocating to the Houston area from Columbus, Ohio, where he previously held the position of vice president of global controls research and development at Scotts. He joined the company in 2002 and earned five promotions during his 10 years with them. Soufi holds a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from Oklahoma State and a MBA from Lehigh University.
