HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Cook’s Pest Control held its annual Keystones award dinner on Jan. 26, in the newly renovated Saturn Ballroom of Huntsville’s Von Braun Center.

Before celebrating 78 President’s Club members, the company recognized 27 managers and supervisors that surpassed 2023 goals, and five office specialists chosen to receive a President’s Award. In addition, 14 Keystone awards were presented; six for top performance in key areas and eight for those who best modeled Cook’s core values.

The following six employees received Keystone awards based on their 2023 achievements in management and sales:

  • Trey Nash (Marietta, GA) Commercial Sales Leader
  • Tyler Cooper (Huntsville, AL) Residential Sales Leader
  • Josh Taber (Chattanooga, TN) Sales Manager of the Year
  • Martina Mosley (Rome, GA) Home Office
  • Mike Schuller (Huntsville, AL) Termite Manager of the Year
  • Colby Ward (Madison, AL) Pest Manager of the Year

The following eight employees received Keystone awards for demonstrating a commitment to Cook’s company culture and core values. These winners were nominated by district management through a survey that described why each nominee should be considered, with specific examples of stewardship, gratitude, integrity, excellence, generosity, and respect:

  • Neil Olsen (Chattanooga, TN)
  • Roy Jones (Tuscaloosa, AL)
  • Grant Inghram (Nashville, TN)
  • Michelle Crecelius (Huntsville, AL)
  • Thomas Logan (Knoxville, TN)
  • Jonathan Graham (Dothan, AL)
  • Justin Smith (Gainesville, GA)
  • Todd Bleeker (Marietta, GA)

Joey Harris, senior vice president and COO, commented, “Thank you for what you did in 2023. You contributed significantly to the success of this company and you are an elite group. If you are a technician or salesperson (the true President’s Club) you represent the top 6% of this group company wide.”

To wrap up the celebration, Cook's President and CEO Brian Cook reaffirmed the company’s future. “As I said last year at this event, in a world and industry that seems to be about cheap, fast growth and sell-offs, we are different. We’re growing to serve, not to sell because our vision is too important.”

Cook challenged the group to “not be fixated just on our goals and how lofty or easily attainable they are, but rather let’s focus on leading ourselves to grow in such a way that we become more professional and proficient, more successful in our roles that we truly do elevate the way we work and serve, and therefore far exceed our minimum goals.”
