Cooper Pest Building a Bright Future

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. — The Building Owners and Managers Association of New Jersey (BOMA), awarded Cooper Pest Solutions with the Office Building of the Year Award (TOBY) for the office building under 100,000 square feet category June 13.

The TOBY Award is one of the most prestigious awards given in the real-estate industry. The comprehensive criteria for the award include excellence in building management, operational efficiency, tenant retention, emergency planning and community impact.  

BOMA New Jersey also is an affiliate of BOMA International, the oldest and largest association of the office building industry with more than 100 federated associations around the world.

Cooper Pest Solutions was pleasantly surprised with the news that they won the award. 

"I am so happy that the patience and diligence in designing our new building has paid off," said Phillip Cooper, president, in a release. "We spent so much time consulting and planning our new addition.  We planned this building with our employees in mind, and it really shows."

Cooper Pest Solutions, is headquartered in Lawrenceville, N.J., in a 6,800-square-foot office building that houses 58 employees. The building’s amenities are numerous and have contributed to a high employee retention rate.

"I really enjoy working here," said Stephanie Madden, who works in Cooper’s media relations department. "The building has a unique design that makes it easy for me to get my work done and enjoy my time spent here."

Cooper Pest Solutions also boats a Lawrence Station Road historical time line in the foyer, which was recognized by the Lawrenceville Historical Society as a historical landmark.
