CPCO of Georgia, P.E.S.T. Relief International Support the Jordan Family

The organizations came together to support the family of Bradly Jordan, who was tragically killed in January while servicing an apartment complex in Georgia.

Editor’s note: In January, service technician Bradly Jordan was tragically killed while servicing an apartment complex in Georgia. Since that time the pest control industry in Georgia and throughout the country have been helping to raise money to support Bradly’s widow, Hannah, and their young son Oliver. The latest effort is from CPCO of Georgia and P.E.S.T. Relief International, detailed below.

Hannah and Bradly Jordan met at a church VBS program in middle school. Hannah describes Bradly as the most kind and amazing person anyone could have known. They became friends and became closer as the years past and eventually were married. Hannah spoke of Bradly’s sweetness and how excited he was to be a dad and see their son grow up.

At a young age of 23 and 20, their household was busy as Hannah stayed home with Oliver and Bradly worked as a pest control technician. On January 28, 2021 Bradly went to work to service an apartment complex in Lawrenceville, GA. Tragically, he was shot and killed by a stranger while at the service location. This changed life for Hannah, Oliver, and the rest of the Jordan family forever.

In response to this tragedy, CPCO of GA coordinated efforts with P.E.S.T. Relief International to provide an outreach effort at the CPCO of GA Savannah Spring Seminar in April to raise more awareness and support for this family. Attendees rallied in support both financially and emotionally. The project consisted of artwork that displays attendees personalized thumbprints which represent leaves on a tree. Participants also wrote sympathy notes and enclosed cash donations.

We are extending the opportunity to the pest management industry nationally. To contribute, go to P.E.S.T. Relief International’s website, www.pestrelief.org. Click on DONATE, then ONE TIME DONATION. Use the dropdown menu under Donation Designation and select “Hannah & Oliver’s Tree”. This is a tax-deductible gift. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this young family in this difficult time.
