TAMRAC, Fla. - The Certified Pest Control Operators Association of Florida (CPCO) recently relaunched its Web site, www.cpcoofflorida.org.
According to CPCO of Florida General Manager/Comptroller Terri Usha, the site was redesigned for cosmetic reasons.
“We were looking for a sleeker look and an easier way to get the information our members and visitors require,” Usha said. “As we started the transformation we added many new pages and incorporated some of the old ones so that we can offer the viewers optimum information without having to continue linking to other pages.”
One of the new functions is a three-month calendar of CPCO events, as well as news from other associations. CPCO’s home page will carry up-to-the-minute news on products and legislature gathered from industry manufacturers and Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (DACS).
In addition, currently under construction is a page that will allow members to check the status of their completed CEUs taken through CPCO of Florida and the same for any technician that has taken their training through the association. It is now easier to reach the CEU page to obtain on-line CEUs and Tech Training. The WDO Registry has been streamlined and each county has been alphabetized according to city and then company.
Future additions to the site include an online registration for CPCO of Florida’s upcoming WDO Registry classes throughout the state. A new contacts page has pictures of the CPCO of Florida Board with brief bios that appear when pictures are clicked. While most of the Web site is up and running, other areas are still in development. Any suggestions can be e-mailed to TUsh4321@aol.com.
