Craig Thomas Pest Control Donates Services to Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse

HYDE PARK, N.Y. – Craig Thomas Pest Control recently assisted a not-for-profit agency with a problem.  The Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse located in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., needed advice and was thrilled when Craig Thomas Pest Control came to the Center to offer their expertise.

“Most people tend to think of pest management in terms of ants, roaches and fleas, but the importance is much broader including food and health protection,” said Craig Thomas, president of CTPC.

Having the opportunity to assist The Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse was an easy choice to make, Thomas says. "Being a responsible business owner means giving back to the community.” 

This organization has been dedicated to the reduction of child maltreatment since 1973.  They serve more than 12,000 children and 4,000 parents, teachers, caregivers and adults in our community each year. The Center provides support, education, advocacy and protection services to help abused children and educate adults to prevent future abuse.
