Craig Thomas Pest Control Protects Animal Sanctuary

The company provided the not-for-profit Catskill Animal Sanctuary with pest control services free of charge.

HYDE PARK, N.Y. – Craig Thomas Pest Control recently assisted a not-for-profit organization with a pest problem. The Catskill Animal Sanctuary, located in Saugerties, N.Y., needed help and was thrilled when Craig Thomas Pest Control immediately came to their rescue to offer free pest protection.

“Most people tend to think of pest management in terms of ants, roaches and fleas, but the importance is much broader including food and health protection,” said Craig Thomas, president of CTPC.

Having the opportunity to assist Catskill Animal Sanctuary was an easy choice to make for Thomas, who added, "Being a responsible business owner means giving back to the community.”

Catskill Animal Sanctuary provides a safe and loving haven for abused, abandoned and neglected animals, and has saved close to 1,800 lives since it opened its doors. Kathy Stevens, CAS Director indicated that, "Unfortunately, rats are a problem on all farms. Sadly, they’re a danger to our animals’ health, and despite our best efforts, our humane traps weren’t working.”

About the Sanctuary’s experience with Craig Thomas, Stevens said, “Craig and his staff heard our concerns, and offered the ultimate in professionalism and caring.  We are deeply grateful that they stepped forward."
