TRAVERSE CITY, Mich — Critter Control recognized the 25-year anniversaries of Mike Dwyer, Vanetta ‘Happi’ Truan and Danielle Flowers.
Mike Dwyer, Critter Control’s Chief Networking Officer, originally operated Critter Control of Columbus before joining the corporate team. Happi Truan joined the corporate team in 1986 and is now the company’s vice president of marketing and Danielle Flowers was the company’s first ever franchisee. Flowers started as a Branch Manager in Cleveland, OH in 1986.
It all began 29 years ago when Detroit metropolitan based chimney sweep Kevin Clark received a call to remove a raccoon from a chimney. The caller said they had phoned all over town to everyone they could think of to help solve their problem, but nobody dealt with marauding wildlife. Seizing the opportunity, Clarks' Critter Control was born. A few years later Critter Control, Inc was incorporated and began franchising the concept. Today, Critter Control is North America's largest wildlife pest control firm, with over 130 offices coast-to-coast.
