Critter Control is the title sponsor of the Freestyle Alligator Wrestling Competition. On May 11-12, a dozen alligator wranglers will vie for the title of Freestyle Alligator Wrestling Championship. They take to the waters at the Seminole Village at the Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Fla.
Critter Control’s Shea Hayley is a technician at the Critter Control of Ft. Lauderdale office, and is a contestant in next week’s competition. Hayley started wrestling gators three years ago for fun, and now for the competition. “I just jumped in and figured I could do it, after watching somebody else do it…pretty much try to not get bit, and hold on for dear life,” he said.
