PASADENA, Texas — Control Solutions Inc. (CSI) has promoted Dr. Janis Reed to product development and regulatory director.
In her new role, Reed will oversee all operations, functions and activities related to projects as they move through the various stages of product development. She will lead the technical services team and the analytical and formulation chemists and oversee the regulatory leadership within CSI.
“Janis has, and will continue to be, a major asset for our organization,” said Mark Boyd, president, CSI. “As CSI continues to grow, we are pleased to provide opportunities for our team to grow with us.”
Reed joined CSI in 2017 as the PCO division's technical services manager. During this time, she played an integral role in supporting the launch of CSI’s new products.
Reed brings more than 20 years of experience in urban entomology. Her background includes time at a large, independently owned pest management company as the staff entomologist and technical director, and several years of research and pesticide education experience. She completed a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and Ph.D. in entomology at Texas A&M University with a focus on urban entomology. Reed holds and maintains her accreditation as a board-certified entomologist and has been a licensed structural pesticide applicator since 2000.
