METAIRIE, La. - DA Exterminating was recently awarded the 2012 U.S. Small Business Administration's Family-Owned Business of the Year Award.
The nominees came from small, family-owned businesses throughout the state of Louisiana. DA president Jed D'Arensbourg accepted the award at a luncheon sponsored by the Jefferson Parish Chamber of Commerce.
"We are extremely proud to receive this prestigious award," D'Arensbourg said. "I want to thank our outstanding employees and the work they do. Their contributions are critical to the success we've had here at DA over the years."
DA was founded by E.J. D'Arensbourg in 1959. The company has three branch offices in Louisiana and was ranked #81 on PCT's 2012 Top 100 List.
