The inaugural Europest event, organized by CEPA, a European pest management industry association, will be held April 1-3 at the Holiday Inn West in Rome.
The event is planned Europest to become an annual addition to the European pest control calendar. This event aims to raise standards within the industry by providing a forum for information exchange, business networking and the sharing of skills and knowledge.
“The theme we have selected for Europest is ‘Unifying and leading our industry’ which I feel neatly sums-up the overall objective of the event – to position CEPA as the unified European industry leader aiming, via our continued commitment, to add value to the industry,” said Robert Stuyt, CEPA president.
Europest begins with a welcome reception on the evening of April. Following this will be two full days of presentations and delegate discussion led by respected industry leaders from across Europe and beyond who will address topics as wide ranging as market development, harnessing the power of the media, raising the levels of professionalism and training, women in pest control and technical innovation. There also will be a gala dinner accompanied by an event to celebrate industry achievements.
Delegates also are invited to attend the CEPA General Assembly on April 4.
Cost for the conference is €500. For more information, or to register, visit CEPA’s Web site. Or contact Rob Fryatt, CEPA director general, at robfryatt@cepa-europe.org or Frances McKim, Active Solutions, at frances@activesolutions.uk.com.
