WASHINGTON – The Washington, D.C. Department of Health announced the 2-Day Rodent and Vector Control Academy — a deep dive into the latest and most effective strategies in pest and rodent management, will take place July 9-10.

The event will bring together leading experts, city departments and engaged residents to explore innovative tools and techniques, including integrated pest management, trained rodent detection dogs and enclosed waste containment systems — all designed to build safer, cleaner communities.

Expert presentations, including a keynote from nationally recognized urban rodentologist Dr. Bobby Corrigan, will highlight the event. Other highlights include:
