NEWARK, Del. — One of the most important meetings in the Northeast is about to celebrate a milestone as the Delaware Pest Control Association approaches its 50th Anniversary in February 2009. The Delaware Short Course, the dream child of Dr. Dale Bray, has more than lived up to the founder’s expectations, providing valuable education and training to the industry since its inception.
The Short Course has provided pest management professionals from Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Washington, D.C., New Jersey and Pennsylvania with the most up-to-date information about the biology and control of pests, as well as industry trends and technological advancements. This coming year is no different as evidenced by the impressive line-up of well-known industry speakers which includes Greg Baumann, technical director, National Pest Management Association; Jeff Tucker, Entomology Associates; Bobby Corrigan, RMC Pest Management Consulting; Jeffrey O’Neill, Central Life Sciences; and Dr. Phil Kohler, University of Florida.
The event will be held in Clayton Hall at the University of Delaware, Newark. For additional information, contact Gary Marcucci at 609/703-0704.
