Demand G granule insecticide with Active Release technology by Syngenta has been granted a supplemental label approving use for six additional target pests and expanding lawn and perimeter application options.

The new label expands Demand G control to a total of 30 target pests which now include cockroaches, fleas, ticks, European crane flies, palmetto bugs and waterbugs. Additionally, it allows for application without watering in granules — reducing a step in the perimeter application process — and eliminates a restriction on the number of applications per year.

Unlike traditional granular treatments, Demand G with Active Release technology features a unique formulation process that infuses the active ingredient into the carrier, so the insecticide is more readily available off the granule, increasing the area of treated surface, the company said. Field research trials show that Demand G provides rapid, excellent control of ants and other labeled pests. The formulation is non-staining and easy to apply.
