Douglas Products Announces Planned CEO Transition

LIBERTY, Mo. – Douglas Products and Packaging Company LLC announced a planned leadership transition designed to support the company’s continued evolution and long-term growth as a specialty chemicals provider. Effective Jan. 5, Colin Gouveia has assumed the role of chief executive officer, succeeding Andrew Klein, who has transitioned to an active role on the company’s board of directors.

Gouveia brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across specialty chemicals, advanced materials and global industrial markets. Most recently, he served as president and chief executive officer of Rogers Corporation, a global specialty materials company. Prior to Rogers, he has held senior leadership roles at Eastman Chemical, Taminco, Dow, Rohm and Haas, and ICI.
