INDIANAPOLIS — Dow AgroSciences has named Heather Kern product manager for its U.S. Pest Management sulfuryl fluoride business, supporting Vikane and ProFume gas fumigants.
In her new role, Kern will manage the marketing strategy, marketing research and communication plans for Vikane and ProFume. She previously held the position of project leader for the Strategy Acceleration and Productive Team, supporting the North American Regional Commercial Unit and Global Business Units. She joined The Dow Chemical Company in 2000, working in customer service.
Kern earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communication disorders from Central Michigan University, and a Master of Management degree in marketing and international business from Aquinas College.
“I look forward to working with our many customers that rely on the proven performance of Vikane and ProFume,” Kern says. “We enjoy a great working relationship with our distributor partners and customers, and I will work to maintain and strengthen our industry support.”
Kern replaces Justin Stewart, who was recently named product manager for Cereal and Rice Herbicides within Dow AgroSciences’ U.S. Crop Protection business.
